The NDID digital torque screwdriver features the simplicity of a click-type torque tool combined with easy visual confirmation and data collection. The torque limiting clutch slips (clicks) at the preset torque point and unlike typical click-type tools, more torque cannot be applied. The torque point is set on an analog scale using the included hex wrench and marks on the driver handle. Confirm the preset torque point by applying torque until the clutch slips, and checking the peak torque on the LCD display.
NOTE: Torque is set on an analog scale not digital. The LCD display shows the actual slip torque at the setpoint.
Use the three way program dial to select peak or real time mode, units, Go/No Go High and Low, Auto Zero, etc. Capture and recall up to 400 torque data in internal memory and save them to USB memory for transfer to a PC.
When Go/No Go High and Low are set the LED indicator lights green for between the High and Low and red for under or over. Accuracy is ± 1% F.S., ±1 LSD. The torque driver is powered by an NiMH rechargeable battery.
